Conquering the Fiercely Competitive D2 Class! Takuma Kamada Crowned Season Champion

Round 8 of the 2026 JAF All Japan Dirt Trial Championship—"Dirt Trial in Takata"—was held on October 10 (Sat) and 11 (Sun), 2026, at Technique Stage Takata in Hiroshima Prefecture.

With this final round, Takuma Kamada was crowned the 2026 All Japan Dirt Trial Championship D2 Class season champion!

This season was contested over eight rounds held at venues across the country. Driving the "Castrol TEIN BRZ," Kamada steadily accumulated points, starting with a second-place finish in the season opener. After placing fourth in Round 2 at Takata, he secured second place in three consecutive rounds: Round 3 (Nasu), Round 4 (Sunagawa), and Round 5 (Ebisu). This season-long consistency laid a solid foundation for his title victory. In Round 6 at Kiriyachi, he prevailed in a tight battle against his rivals to claim his long-awaited first win of the season. He followed this up with another victory in Round 7 at Inabe, coming from behind in the second heat amidst wet conditions to achieve back-to-back wins. He finished fourth in the final round (Round 8) at Takata. Across the eight-round season, he recorded two wins, four second-place finishes, and two fourth-place finishes, ultimately claiming the D2 Class series championship with a total of 100 valid points.
