The 2023 AUTOBACKS SUPER GT first round final race was held on April 16th.
It was the No. 18 UPGARAGE NSX GT3 driven by Takashi Kobayashi and big rookie Takashi Koide in the 100th Memorial Race that perfectly adhered to a carefully crafted strategy and won in the changing rain conditions. !
The first race, which was hit by weather that turned clear at one point, rain mixed with hail, and thunderstorms, resulted in an unprecedentedly turbulent race, with red flags suspended three times. TEAM UPGARAGE won.
In addition, in the GT500 class, the No. 8 ARTA MUGEN NSX-GT from ARTA, which has two cars in the GT500 class from this season, took the data that will lead to the next race, and took 3rd place on the podium in tough conditions!
