The final race on Sunday was blessed with good weather, and a heated battle unfolded.

イメージ画像Starting from pole position, Naomasa Kishimoto (Car No. 41) made an excellent start and took the lead, but was caught up in a fierce battle from the opening lap. On the second lap, he had to hand over his position to Ikeshima, but Kishimoto kept his cool and picked up the pace with each lap.

The race was then interrupted by the deployment of the safety car, but Kishimoto showed tenacious driving even after the restart, and took the lead again on the seventh lap. Then, on the final lap, he steadily widened the gap with the following cars, achieving a pole-to-win for the second consecutive race.

Kishimoto's skillful driving and machine control excited the crowd. His two consecutive victories are proof of his high ability and stable performance, and he has made a big step towards winning the title this season.

Kishimoto is also leading the points rankings. We are looking forward to his performance in the next final race. We ask for your continued support.

In the previous race in Okayama, I had a good pace and was able to get away from the pack, but this time I think I was able to prove my strength in battling. I'm really glad that I'm in a very favorable position in terms of the points rankings. Of course, I'm aiming for the championship in the final race, but I've been able to keep the best time and position since the private practice at Okayama, so I'd like to finish feeling good in first place until the end."

Manager Aoai (TEAM HERO'S) "We got off to a good start in the first half of the season. Things went wrong in the middle of the season, leading to poor results. But we reset ourselves and got back on track in the second half, scoring consecutive pole-to-wins at Okayama and Suzuka, and we were able to enter the final race in first place in the rankings. At the Suzuka event,WORK EMOTION ZR7 traction on various road conditions and the intense battle with minor contact were both great, and it was a very encouraging presence. Racing TEAM HERO'S will do our best to win the final race and help Naomasa Kishimoto win the championship."
