The TOYOTA GAZOO Racing GR86/BRZ Cup Rd.6 Clubman Series was held at Suzuka Circuit in Suzuka City, Mie Prefecture from Saturday, October 5th to Sunday, October 6th, 2024.

The final race on Sunday was blessed with good weather, and a heated battle unfolded.

Starting from pole position, Naomasa Kishimoto (Car No. 41) made an excellent start and took the lead, but was caught up in a fierce battle from the opening lap. On the second lap, he had to hand over his position to Ikeshima, but Kishimoto kept his cool and picked up the pace with each lap.

The race was then interrupted by the deployment of the safety car, but Kishimoto showed tenacious driving even after the restart, and took the lead again on the seventh lap. Then, on the final lap, he steadily widened the gap with the following cars, achieving a pole-to-win for the second consecutive race.

Kishimoto's skillful driving and machine control excited the crowd. His two consecutive victories are proof of his high ability and stable performance, and he has made a big step towards winning the title this season.

Of course, I'm aiming for the championship in the final race, but I've been able to keep the best time and position since the private practice at Okayama, so I'd like to finish feeling good in first place until the end."
